In modern pig farming, maintaining harmony with the environment and surrounding communities is crucial. Our biological aircleaner effectively reduce ammonia, odor and dust, enabling sustainable operations and coexistence with nearby villages and towns.
Principle of operation
The biological aircleaner works by direct contact between barn air and wash water in a filter pack. Dust, odor components and ammonia dissolve in the water, creating a breeding ground for bacteria. These bacteria convert harmful substances into water-soluble compounds, which are then safely discharged. Bacteria on the filter surface break down ammonia into nitrite and nitrate, which are removed with the wash water during regular replacements. The honeycomb-like plastic filter is self-cleaning, reducing maintenance needs. As wash water becomes saturated with nitrates and nitrites, it must be refreshed regularly. The nutrient-rich discharged water can be reused for irrigation or further processing.
Cost-effective operation
Operational costs of a Biological aircleaner are low due to the system’s low air resistance and minimal maintenance requirements. Biological aircleaners offer flexible construction options, including compact container systems placed next to the building and larger aircleaners built directly into the building structure.
Reverse osmosis
Using a reverse osmosis system saves water and reduces discharge water, requiring less storage capacity and lower transportation costs. The system concentrates discharge water, resulting in a concentrated liquid with nitrate and nitrite, while clean water is reused in the aircleaner.
