Liquid digestate processing in Münster Germany

Münster, Germany

Since May 2016, the new container dryer for digestate at Bioenergiepark Saerbeck has been in operation. The dryer with air purification processes about 16 tons of liquid digestate daily, converting it into granulate-like, high-quality fertilizer. The digestate comes from renewable raw materials such as maize, pig manure, and grass, sourced from the immediate vicinity of the plant. The dried digestate is marketed in handy 5-liter pails or 20-liter bags.

Saerbeck has been recognized for its pioneering climate protection efforts.
